How does it actually “trap” mud and water?
The mat is made from a high-density blend of 70% cotton and 30% polyester. The cotton fibres act like a sponge to absorb moisture instantly, while the polyester helps to scrub dirt and grit from shoe treads as you walk over it.
Will the “flecked” colour show every bit of dirt?
No. The dual-tone flecked surface (available in four neutral shades) is designed to camouflage mud and water marks, helping the mat maintain a tidy appearance even with regular foot traffic.
Is it easy to wash?
Yes. When it becomes dirty, it can be washed in a washing machine at 30°C. Its 0.8cm thickness means it is not bulky and will not put unnecessary strain on the drum. Air drying is recommended to help maintain the condition of the rubber backing.
