Does this heater need to be hardwired by an electrician?
No, it comes with a 1.8m cable and a standard UK plug. You simply mount it and plug it into an outdoor-rated socket or a suitable indoor socket.
How much area does the 1500w setting actually heat?
On the 1500w setting, this heater is ideal for warming a small-to-medium patio area or a garden seating set for 4–6 people.
What is a “Golden Tube” element, and why is it better?
Golden tube technology is more efficient at converting electricity into heat. It provides instant infrared warmth (heating people, not the air) and significantly reduces the harsh red “glow” associated with older heaters.
Can I mount this heater under a wooden gazebo or awning?
Yes, thanks to the adjustable tilt angle, you can direct the heat away from the ceiling. However, we recommend a minimum clearance of 50cm from any roof or combustible material.
Does the casing get hot during use?
The aluminium reflector helps direct heat forward, but the outer casing will become warm. Ensure it is mounted at a height (recommended 1.8m+) where children and pets cannot touch it.
